Image result for Petta movie imagesPetta movie released today (10th January) and it is a special movie for Rajinikanth’s fans. Director Karthik Subbaraj is known for his unique, entertaining movies.

Karthik Subbaraj’s 5th directorial movie Petta is his commercial movie yet. Still her manages to retain his Midas touch throughout the movie, with massive twists ans surprises every now and then. We can say the first part movie is for Superstar Rajinikanth and little bit for Karthik Subbaraj but the second half is totally for Thalaivar fans.

Anirudh looks like a man who has been on a penance to work for a Thalaivar movie. He has unleashed every trick in his bag, leaving us with a terrific score. The popularity of the songs aid the film, but a couple of dance sequences creates a lag.

With a run time of close to 3 hours, it could have been shorter by a few minutes. The portions involving Rajini and Simran look as beautiful as the latter. Nawasuddin Siddiqui debut movie in tamil and Karthik subbaraj have not exploited his full talent in this movie. Vijaysethupathi as usual done his part well. Petta is a Rajini fan’s delight, as we witness a lot of scenes that remind us pf the Superstar from the 90’s. There are scenes where he flicks his hair, flips a cigarette, dances to a Kuthu number. P

Petta is a complete mass entertainer with twists and turns that will make you howl in the theatres like you would in a Thalaiva film. It is relevant to the current day and age; it’s a film that all Rajinikanth fans will definitely enjoy!
